This collection is inspired by graphic printing: Lines, Numbers, Crosses. Part of the collection is accented with hand blocked printed graphics, while other hats show graphic details through felt cut outs, buttons or hand felted pieces. It was important for me to create a collection of hats that are approachable and understated. A modern accessory, something you can wear with jeans and tee shirt, but still make heads turn. Hand blocked hat with hand felted detail. The Pippi hat is a hand blocked hat with embroidery.

Claudia Schulz grew up in Berlin, Germany and now lives and works between Berlin and Vancouver, Canada. Her hat designs are inspired by European 1920’s and 1930’s styles. Each of Claudia’s pieces are uniquely designed based upon classic minimalist design principles showing simple lines, striking colours and refined accent details, creating a wearable, modern-urban hats.
