The designers of Positive Energy have been fans of American Apparel’s line of sweatshop-free clothing since they first discovered it. When American Apparel introduced their 100% Organic Cotton line for adults and babies, the mother-daughter team decided that these would be the perfect “blanks” for their awareness messages. There are so many people and places in need -- Positive Energy is trying to help, one step at a time, by donating 10% of their profits to three different charities with the hope that they can give more to more charities as they grow. They brainstorm ways to take social and environmental messages they are passionate about and bring them into the mainstream consciousness.
