One person's trash is Chicago resident Scott Sullivan's treasure. By playing with a bright idea to infuse ordinary lamps with car transmissions, a business was born. After finding a way to utilize used car parts, Sullivan started using the pieces to create various interior goods, such as lamps and coasters. Sullivan said he designs the interior goods in his garage, where he also works as a contractor.
