Delicate stacking rings in a variety of shapes and colors. Beaded and bar rings stretch to fit and chain rings are available in size 8. Choose from gold oval chain, silver curb chain, silver or gold beaded or gold bar rings. Chains and beads are vintage from the 1970's to 1980's. All vintage components are carefully hand selected and cleaned before they are transformed into Dirty Librarian Chains. Rings are packaged in a special DLC jewelry box and are displayed on a rolled sheet of a vintage dictionary page which is placed on a printed book card. Sheets of vintage dictionary pages protect the jewelry during transit. Handmade in Brooklyn NY.
Dirty Librarian Chains wants to take good care of the earth. The main goal that motivates designer, Susan Domelsmith, is to create beautiful statement jewelry without any additional waste through manufacturing or plating. Every piece in this collection is at least 80% carefully cleaned and inspected vintage materials. We also love the new one-of-a-kind story that is created through the combined histories of all of the distinct components within each DLC product.
